Course description

ED 6116 Introduction to the use of modern instructional techniques(multimedia/interactive media/electronic media and telecommunications for learning and research. Workshops will be organized by instructor to demonstrate the uses of modern technology.




Goals

1.To increase students’ experiences of modern technology
2.To increase students’ knowledge concerning applications of modern
technology in learning and research
3.To increase students’ skills in using modern technology

Objectives, Students will be able to:

1.develop students’ skills in searching for modern technology
2.use modern technology software.
3.apply knowledge and skills of modern technology for learning design

Assignments(tentative)

Weekly assignment for each student are:
Read and answer questions&write excerpts from handouts and post on Class Blog .Assignments will be accepted late for up to one week past the due date. At the end of that week, they will no longer be accepted or graded. Points may be deducted for lateness, at the instructor's discretion (typically 5% of the total value per day late). Don't fall behind -- it is too difficult to catch up again!
